— THE REAL PROBLEM

THE PROBLEM
ISN’T YOU.

IT’S YOUR PLAN.

Most nutrition plans are built for a perfect world.

REAL LIFE DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY.

If your plan only works when life is perfect, it isn’t a solution.

IT’S THE PROBLEM.

FOOD JAIL

Your plan treats your favorite foods like criminals.

That plan isn’t changing your life.

It’s just making you count down the days until you can eat your favorite foods again.

ALL OR NOTHING

Your plan demands absolute perfection.

That plan isn’t helping you make progress.

It’s forcing you to start over every time you’re not perfect.

DECISION FATIGUE

Your plan turns every food choice into a judgment call.

That plan isn’t creating confidence.

It’s making food harder than it needs to be.

GROUNDHOG DAY

Your plan turns every setback into another restart.

That plan isn’t moving you forward.

It’s keeping you stuck chasing fresh starts instead of making real progress.

— THE SOLUTION —

THE SOLUTION ISN’T MORE RESTRICTION.
IT’S A BETTER SYSTEM.

THE SOLUTION ISN’T MORE RESTRICTION.
IT’S A BETTER SYSTEM.

THE SOLUTION ISN’T
MORE RESTRICTION.

IT’S A BETTER SYSTEM.

Most nutrition plans rely on restriction, perfection, and willpower.

What makes this system different is simple:

You can eat anything,
but you can’t eat everything.

Instead of forcing you to follow a rigid plan, we teach you how to make the foods you enjoy fit into your day so you can keep making progress no matter what life throws your way.

When your system fits your life, success stops depending on motivation and starts becoming second nature.

FREEDOM THROUGH STRUCTURE

You can eat anything, not everything.

With the right system in place food stops feeling like something you have to fight against.

Consistency starts to feel natural instead of forced.

PROGRESSION OVER PERFECTION

You don’t have to be perfect to make progress.

An approach that only works under perfect conditions isn’t going to work for you.

The right system keeps one imperfect choice from becoming a reason to start over.

NO BAD FOODS, ONLY BAD CHOICES

Food isn’t good or bad. It’s just food.

Instead of telling you what you can and can’t eat, the right system teaches you how to make food decisions that fit your goals.

When you understand the tradeoffs, progress becomes the result of strategy, not guesswork.

RESULTS ON REPEAT

You shouldn’t have to keep starting over.

The right system doesn’t come with an expiration date. It helps you raise your baseline so weekends, vacations, holidays, and life’s setbacks no longer erase the progress you’ve made.

Your previous best becomes your new starting point.

NOT A DIET.

NOT A RESET.

NOT A QUICK FIX.

WE GET IT.

You’re tired of putting in effort without seeing results.

You’ve followed the plans, started over more times than you can count, and wondered why staying consistent feels so much harder than it should.

THE TRUTH IS.

Most people aren’t struggling because they need to work harder.

They’ve simply never been taught how to make nutrition work in the real world.

That’s where guidance, accountability, and support make the difference.

THIS IS WHY WE CREATED
THE FOOD FREEDOM FRAMEWORK.

A practical approach designed to help you navigate real meals, real schedules, and real setbacks without losing momentum.

Because when you have the right approach and the right people beside you, making progress doesn’t require giving up your life.

IT BECOMES PART OF YOUR LIFE.

I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE MYSELF

This photo caught my eye the other day.

It’s the first picture of me holding my daughter after she was born, and I had to do a double take. I didn’t really recognize myself.

I owe her everything.

The first time I saw this picture, I realized I needed to wake up and get my health in order.

I started on the path. It took me a while to get going, and I stray from time to time. I probably would have fallen off the path completely had it not been for Jonathan, Anne, and the First In Family.

Over the last two years, I’ve lost more than 100 pounds. I went from 348.5 lbs to 243 lbs, from a 4X shirt to a 2X, and from a 46″ waist to a 36″.

I’ve done things I never thought I’d do. I competed in my first BJJ tournament. I completed Chad1000x with a 20-pound ruck. I proved to myself that I can do hard things when I put my mind to them.

More importantly, I have stayed on the path the longest, enjoyed myself more than ever, and see a future of actually reaching my goals.

The path is not easy. It is hard work.

But I can’t wait to see the changes over the next few years because I’m on the path for good.

I have stayed on the path the longest, enjoyed myself more than ever, and see a future of actually reaching my goals.

I’M BETTER FOR MY FAMILY

— REAL STORIES FROM THE FIRST IN FAMILY —

AT 60, I FEEL BETTER THAN I DID AT 40

Nine years ago, I decided to break free from the vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting and start my journey with First In Nutrition.

I lost 50 lbs, but more importantly I gained self-confidence, strength, and the ability to not be afraid of food!

I discovered that I can eat whatever I want as long as it fits my nutritional needs. Yes, I eat pizza, steak, pasta, bread… and yes, my share of vegetables. I went from riding a bike 6 miles to 80.

Progress isn’t always linear. There were ups and downs, but all were part of the journey to get me where I am today.

Nine years of mindful eating, conscious food choices, strength training, walking, and biking.

At 60, I feel more vibrant, energetic, and healthier than I did at 40. I’m forever grateful for this incredible journey and all the guidance and support along the way.

I FOUND FREEDOM THROUGH STRUCTURE

I went from a sluggish 320ish lbs with a negative outlook on life to an active 193 lbs with a positive one.

My relationship with food was way off balance. That old lifestyle required a lot of work and meant many missed opportunities.

What changed? I found the right table to sit at with like-minded people in the First In Fam. The support and knowledge from the Fam was like no other. Real people who were easy to connect with.

Understanding freedom through structure was a game changer for me. No more villainizing food or shaming myself. An adjustable system with informed choices that keep me on the path is amazing and freeing for sure.

I DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD WORK FOR ME

I came to First In because I wanted to stop yo-yo dieting and quit wasting money on fad BS that didn’t work.

I wanted to feel better, look better, and finally have lifelong health stability that I could control, but I wasn’t sure this would work for me.

Well, I ended up signing back up for another six months!

Who could have imagined this mom who loves pasta, hates working out, and hates spending money on herself would VOLUNTARILY sign up for a nutrition group again? 🤣

You guys changed my outlook on losing weight and exercise.

IT'S ABOUT WHAT YOU GAIN

When I started this journey, my focus was weight loss. I thought I’d learn some new way to starve myself to happiness and maybe become a size 10.

What I learned instead was how to be kind to myself.

For years I was overeating, undereating, eating foods I was intolerant of, and believing feeling terrible was normal.

Today, I love being in total control.

It’s been years since I’ve binge eaten. I finally figured out my food intolerances. I don’t punish myself with endless cardio anymore or try to outrun my fork. I eat with a balance that works with my body instead of against it.

There isn’t anything special about me or my life that allowed this change to happen. I don’t live and breathe training or restrict my food. I dug deep, stepped out of my own way, listened to what my coach asked me to do, and met some of the most incredible people who I am so very fortunate to call my Fam.

Turns out it was not at all about what I would lose…

It is 100% about the gains!

I gained the confidence to stand front and center in a picture. To wear a swimsuit. To do a silly jump into the deep end just to make my kids laugh. I gained self love. I gained a Family full of people who are just like me, looking to get a little bit better every day.

I had done the 21-day challenges, the shakes, and worked out twice a day, seven days a week. I had results.

But then what?

I had no idea how to eat when I wasn’t actively dieting.

And when I couldn’t sustain the results, I thought, “They say this works, so it must be ME that is broken.”

I used to think suffering was the only way to make progress.

I am so happy I was proven wrong.

I never imagined that years later I’d spend 90% of my time thriving in maintenance instead of constantly trying to lose weight.

I don’t look back at the last few years and think about my weight loss. I look at where I am today, and I’m grateful for everything I’ve gained.

Nothing is more valuable or more worth the effort than my family. Gaining control over my nutrition has brought confidence to so many other parts of my life and my marriage. Gaining the ability to keep up with my kids brings me more joy than I can express.

Sometimes I still can’t believe I got that bad… or that I’ve come this far.

Honestly, even all these years in… I still can’t believe this is real life.

IT’S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO LOSE.
IT’S ABOUT WHAT YOU STAND TO GAIN.

I FINALLY KNOW I CAN MAINTAIN THIS

I’ve struggled with my weight for years because I didn’t have direction and didn’t realize what my eating habits were doing to me. When I tore my ACL at the FD and spent eight months sitting on my duff, I knew I needed to make some changes.

I found out a friend was eating whatever he wanted as long as it fit his daily goals, and he didn’t have to add hours upon hours of exercise to achieve weight loss. Enter First In Nutrition—and I am so glad I found it!

I finally found the structure and guidance that’s both sustainable and manageable with my busy schedule and crazy lifestyle. I haven’t had to stop eating the things I love. All I’ve had to do is track what I’m eating and drinking and adjust my portion sizes to make sure I’m within my daily goals.

It does require spending some time each day tracking what I’m eating, but the support I’ve found in this Family is incredible. For once, I feel like I can maintain this lifestyle and not fall back into my old ways.

I started this journey in a very tight size 18. By week 88, I bought a pair of size 6 shorts! Loving my new F’IN wardrobe!

DOING LIFE HAS NEVER FELT THIS GOOD

Doing life has never felt this good! I’ve been eating cheese waffles, pulled pork sandwiches, pumpkin waffles, and all the Indian food I love—and still winning.

I just ran my first 20-miler race since 2018, something I thought I’d never do again after being diagnosed with MS, and even FINished first in my age group in a local 5K.

I’m truly living my best life because of FIN—fueling right, feeling strong, and proving that you don’t have to give up joy to achieve your goals.

If you’re First In Nutrition, you can be First in Life.

THE REAL WINS GO FAR BEYOND WEIGHT

200 days of consistency. 200 days of showing up. And the real wins? They have nothing to do with weight.

I feel strong. I trust my body, push my limits, and see what I’m capable of. My body composition has changed, but the biggest shift has been how I see myself — strong, confident, and healthy.

My energy is better, my sleep has improved, and I just feel good in my own skin.

The best part? I can keep up with my kids like never before. More fun, more play, more energy—especially during BJJ when I can actually roll with them without feeling exhausted! And as a wife, I feel more present, more patient, and more connected.

This journey has been about so much more than tracking—it’s been about choosing myself every day so I can give my best to the people I love.

01

What if I've failed before?

The fact that you’ve struggled in the past doesn’t mean you’re broken.

It means the system you were using wasn’t built for real life.

Most plans work as long as everything goes according to plan. The moment work gets busy, schedules change, or stress shows up, they fall apart.

After enough restarts, it’s easy to stop trusting yourself.

That’s why we don’t ask you to try harder. We help you build a system that keeps working when life isn’t perfect, so one difficult day doesn’t become another reason to start over.

YOUR PAST DOESN’T DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE.
YOUR SYSTEM DOES.

02

What if I fall off track?

Progress isn’t made by never falling off track.

It’s made by knowing how to get back on.

Most people don’t lose their results because of one meal or one missed workout. They lose them because one slip becomes a slide, and one setback becomes another reason to start over.

That’s not how we coach.

We don’t expect perfection, and we don’t believe one decision erases everything you’ve accomplished. We’ll help you learn from what happened so you can make the next decision with confidence.

ONE BAD CHOICE DOESN’T DEFINE YOUR PROGRESS.
MAKING THE NEXT RIGHT ONE DOES.

03

What if life gets in the way?

Life will get in the way.

The goal isn’t to pretend it won’t… it’s to be prepared when it does.

No one has a perfect schedule. Work gets busy. Kids get sick. Vacations happen. Holidays come around. Life changes, often when you least expect it.

What matters isn’t avoiding those moments. It’s knowing how to respond when they happen. That’s why we don’t build systems that only work under perfect conditions.

We build an approach that fits your life instead of forcing your life to fit a plan.

The right system doesn’t ask you to choose between living your life and making progress. It teaches you how to do both.

REAL LIFE ISN’T WHAT STOPS YOUR PROGRESS.
IT’S WHERE YOUR PROGRESS HAPPENS.

04

Do I have to give up the foods I love?

Absolutely not.

Giving up the foods you love isn’t a long-term solution. If a plan only works by eliminating the foods you enjoy, it’s only a matter of time before you’re counting down the days until you can have them again.

You shouldn’t have to choose between enjoying your food and making progress. The goal isn’t to stop eating the foods you love. It’s to stop feeling guilty every time you do.

You can eat anything, but you can’t eat everything.

We’ll teach you how to make the foods you love fit your goals, so birthdays, vacations, family dinners, and nights out become part of your life instead of reasons to start over.

FOOD FREEDOM ISN’T EATING EVERYTHING.
IT’S KNOWING HOW TO MAKE ANYTHING FIT.

05

Will I get a meal plan?

No… and that’s intentional.

A meal plan can tell you what to eat today, but it can’t teach you what to do tomorrow. When life changes, your schedule shifts, you’re traveling, eating out, or simply don’t feel like eating what’s on the plan, it can’t tell you what to do next.

Instead, we’ll teach you how to plan your own meals using the foods you enjoy. Our goal isn’t to have you relying on someone else’s list to make every food decision. It’s to teach you how to make those decisions confidently on your own.

A meal plan teaches compliance. We teach capability.

Because the goal isn’t to follow a meal plan. It’s to build the skills and confidence to never need one.

WE DON’T HAND YOU A MEAL PLAN.
WE TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAN YOUR MEALS.

06

What if I don't have my nutrition figured out yet?

You don’t have to have your nutrition figured out before you start.

Just because you’ve been eating your entire life doesn’t mean you’ve ever been taught how to properly fuel yourself. We don’t expect someone to know how an engine works just because they drive every day. Nutrition is no different.

There’s a difference between eating to survive and learning how to fuel yourself to thrive.

Our job isn’t to test what you already know. It’s to help you build the skills to confidently make nutrition work for your life so you can pursue your goals and create results you can actually maintain.

The people who make the most progress aren’t the ones who think they have all the answers. They’re the ones who stay curious enough to keep learning.

THE GOAL ISN’T TO HAVE IT FIGURED OUT.
IT’S TO KEEP GETTING BETTER.

07

Do I have to live in the gym to make progress?

Absolutely not.

Your body is meant to move, but making progress doesn’t require living in the gym.

We don’t believe everyone should pursue fitness in the same ways. Instead, we believe the right approach prepares you for the life you want to live, supports the goals you’re pursuing, and fits your lifestyle well enough to stick with.

For some people, that’s meeting the physical demands of the job. For others, it’s improving their health, having the energy to keep up with their kids, walking their first 5K, building strength, training for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or running a marathon.

We’re here to help you fuel whatever you’re asking your body to do.

Whatever that looks like for you, we’ll make sure you’re fueled to perform, recover, and continue making progress.

YOUR LIFE SHOULDN’T REVOLVE AROUND FITNESS.
FITNESS SHOULD SUPPORT YOUR LIFE.

08

Is this something I can actually maintain?

Absolutely.

In fact, that’s exactly what we designed it to be… something you can actually maintain.

Sustainable doesn’t mean effortless. The things that matter most in life require ongoing attention. Your career, your relationships, your home, and your health only improve when you continue investing in them. Nutrition is no different.

Around First In, we have a saying:

Do the work. Win the prize.

Not because the work ever ends, but because the rewards keep showing up as long as you do.

This isn’t just something we coach. It’s how we live.

Throughout the First In Family, our coaches and members have been putting this approach into practice for years. Not because any of us are perfect, but because we’ve built a system we can come back to day after day, year after year.

This isn’t a challenge you’ll finish or a way of eating you’ll eventually leave behind. It’s a way of thinking about nutrition that grows with you as your goals, your schedule, and your life change.

We don’t promise you’ll never have to put in the work. We promise the work will finally move you forward instead of forcing you to start over.

SUSTAINABILITY ISN’T ABOUT STAYING PERFECT.
IT’S ABOUT NEVER HAVING TO START OVER

09

What happens after I join?

Getting started is straightforward, and we’ll guide you through each step of the process.

Once you join, you’ll get access to the First In Family and everything you need to get started. Your first step isn’t changing everything. It’s helping us establish an honest starting point.

Before your coach begins making recommendations, we’ll ask you to spend a short time tracking how you’re already eating.

Why?

Because we don’t believe in guessing.

Think of it like using a GPS. Before we can help you get where you want to go, we first need to know where you’re starting.

From there, you’ll be matched with a coach who reviews your information, introduces themselves, and helps you identify the next right step based on how you’re actually performing. As you continue putting the system into practice, we’ll learn what fits your life, what’s working well, and where you need the most support.

Along the way, you’ll have the support of the First In Family. A community of coaches and members who are sharing the journey with you. Whether you have questions, want encouragement, or simply need a place to celebrate your wins and work through setbacks, you’ll be surrounded by people who are committed to continuing to move forward together.

You don’t have to arrive with everything figured out. You just have to be willing to take the first step.

We’ll help you figure out the next one.

YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT ALONE.
YOU’RE PART OF THE FIRST IN FAMILY.

What can I expect from coaching?

Your coach isn’t here to dictate your decisions.

They’re here to help you make better ones.

Think of coaching as having another set of objective eyes to help you see what you can’t see on your own so you can make the next right decision.

Each week, they’ll review the complete picture… not just your weight or your targets, but your consistency, your feedback, the challenges you faced, the wins you experienced, and the patterns that begin to emerge over time. They’ll answer your questions, help you think through the situations you’re facing, and work with you to determine the best next step.

Sometimes that means making an adjustment. Other times, it means staying the course because what you’re doing is already working. Often the best adjustment isn’t changing your targets at all. It’s changing how you approach the week ahead.

Great coaching isn’t about changing your targets every week. It’s about making the right decision based on what’s actually happening so you’re making progress in the real world, not just on paper.

When things don’t go as planned, the goal isn’t to judge you or simply tell you to “do better.” Before we change the approach, we work to understand what happened. Your coach won’t simply hand you the answers. They’ll ask the questions that help you discover the best way forward for your life. Together, you’ll turn any setbacks into information instead of reasons to start over. From there, you’ll develop a strategy you’re confident carrying into the next week.

Our goal isn’t to simply tell you what to do.

It’s to help you become someone who consistently makes informed decisions, understands the tradeoffs, and takes ownership of the outcomes.

That’s how ownership is built.

That’s how confidence grows.

And over time, that’s how consistency becomes a way of life.

Life never stops changing, and neither do your goals, your responsibilities, or the challenges you’ll face. Coaching isn’t about giving up control. It’s about continuing to grow through every season of life.

None of us can see ourselves completely objectively. That’s why the best performers in every field continue to work with coaches, mentors, and people willing to challenge their thinking. It’s also why every coach at First In does the same.

We don’t see objective feedback, accountability, and guidance as signs of weakness. We see them as strengths because they’re some of the most valuable tools you can have if you’re serious about continuing to grow.

You’ll still have to do the work. That’s true of every worthwhile goal. The difference is that you won’t have to figure it out alone. You’ll keep growing with a coach, a community, and a system that helps you make better decisions through every season of life. Over time, those better decisions become better habits. Better habits become confidence. And confidence becomes lasting progress.

THE GOAL OF COACHING ISN’T TO MAKE PERFECT DECISIONS.
IT’S TO OWN YOUR DECISIONS AND KEEP MAKING BETTER ONES.

Why should I work with a coach?

If more information were all it took to make lasting progress, you probably wouldn’t still be searching for answers.

There has never been more nutrition information available than there is today. Books, podcasts, apps, social media, and AI can all be valuable resources. The challenge isn’t finding information.

It’s figuring out what actually applies to your life and taking action instead of constantly searching for the perfect answer.

Maybe this feels familiar.

You decide you’re finally going to get serious about your nutrition, so you start learning.

You read an article.
Listen to a podcast.
Watch a few videos.
Ask AI a question.
Then another.

At first, it feels like you’re making progress.

Before long, you’re convinced the next answer is the one that’s finally going to make everything click.

But soon you hit a snag and doubt creeps in.

“Maybe I should be doing this differently.”
“Am I missing something?”
“That expert disagrees with the last one.”
“Why does this feel so much more complicated than it should?”

Somewhere along the way, learning stopped being the goal. You started looking for proof that you were doing it right.

But more information rarely gives you proof. Instead, it creates another opinion to sort through.

The more opinions you collect, the harder it becomes to trust your own decisions.

The problem isn’t that you don’t have enough information.

It’s that every new answer gives you another decision to make.

Eventually, you spend more time trying to build the perfect plan than actually putting one into practice. Every new opinion becomes another reason to rethink what you were already doing.

Instead of creating clarity, it creates more noise.

That’s exactly why coaching matters.

A coach doesn’t simply give you more information. They provide an objective perspective that’s almost impossible to have when you’re trying to coach yourself.

They help you filter the noise, recognize patterns you can’t see because you’re too close to the situation, and make decisions based on your long-term goals instead of today’s emotions.

One of the greatest benefits of coaching isn’t having someone make decisions for you.

It’s no longer having to question every decision yourself.

When you trust the system you’re following, your mental energy shifts away from constantly researching, debating, and second-guessing every choice. Instead of spending your energy trying to decide what to do, you spend it doing what actually moves you forward.

Coaching doesn’t eliminate decisions.

It eliminates unnecessary doubt.

At First In, that’s exactly how we approach coaching.

Our coaches don’t just teach this system. They live it. Many of us have stood where you are today, and every coach continues learning from coaches and mentors because we don’t believe objective feedback is something you outgrow. We believe it’s one of the most valuable tools you can have if you’re committed to continuing to improve.

Because lasting progress doesn’t come from finding the perfect answer.

It comes from following a system you can trust when life isn’t perfect.

THE GOAL OF COACHING ISN’T TO HELP YOU FIND MORE ANSWERS.
IT’S TO HELP you BUILD TRUST IN THE SYSTEM GUIDING YOUR DECISIONS.

12

Is First In right for me?

First In isn’t defined by your profession.

It’s defined by your priorities.

It’s about putting yourself first so you can continue showing up for the people who depend on you the most.

We started First In to serve first responders because that’s who we are. We understand the demands of that life and will always have a special place in our hearts for the men and women who serve their communities and their country.

But over the years, we learned something important.

Not every first responder is ready to make themselves a priority, but plenty of people who have never worn a uniform are.

Because of this, First In is for anyone who’s ready to put themselves first.

What determines success here isn’t what you do for a living.

It’s whether you’re ready to stop putting your own health on the back burner and start building a system that helps you become your best.

Because the people that depend on you the most deserve you at your best.

WHO THRIVES HERE?

The people who get the most out of First In aren’t the ones with the perfect track record.

They’re the ones who are open to coaching.

They’re willing to learn.

They understand that lasting progress comes from consistency, not perfection.

When they have an off day, they don’t disappear.

They come back.

When life gets in the way, they don’t quit.

They adapt.

When they don’t know the answer, they ask questions instead of pretending they have it all figured out.

You don’t need to have your nutrition figured out.

You don’t need to be in the best shape of your life.

You don’t need years of experience in the gym.

You don’t have to be perfect to belong here. You do have to be willing to take ownership.

WHO PROBABLY ISN’T A GOOD FIT?

If you’re looking for a quick fix, another restrictive meal plan, or someone else to do the work for you, we’re probably not the right fit.

We’ll teach you.

We’ll coach you.

We’ll support you every step of the way.

But we can’t make your choices for you.

No coach can want your goals more than you do.

Real progress starts when you’re willing to take ownership of them.

THE FIRST IN FAMILY

What brings this Family together isn’t a shared profession.

It’s a shared commitment to choosing progress over perfection.

It’s built around people who believe in taking ownership, supporting one another, and making progress one day at a time.

They celebrate each other’s wins, ask for help when they need it, and offer it when they can. They understand that setbacks are part of the journey, but no one has to face them alone.

Most of all, they believe getting a little better every day is always worth the effort.

It’s a place where you’ll be encouraged, challenged, and supported… but also expected to keep showing up.

Because that’s how lasting change happens.

IS FIRST IN RIGHT FOR YOU?

If you’re ready to stop starting over…

If you’re willing to learn instead of chasing the next shortcut…

If you’re ready to build a system that fits your life instead of trying to force your life to fit another plan…

Then we think you’ll feel right at home in the First In Family.

We’d be honored to help you take that next step.

PUTTING YOURSELF FIRST ISN’T SELFISH.
IT’S HOW YOU GIVE YOUR BEST TO THE PEOPLE WHO DEPEND ON YOU THE MOST.

13

Which path is right for me?

There isn’t a wrong path.

Every path is built on the same proven system and designed to help you stop starting over.

The difference is how closely we work together and the level of support you need to build lasting progress.

The right path isn’t determined by how much weight you want to lose or how much nutrition experience you have. It’s determined by where you are today, what you’re ready to commit to, and the guidance that will help you keep moving forward.

That’s why we created multiple paths. Not to sell different levels of coaching, but because people begin their journey at different stages and need different levels of support to succeed.

If you’re ready to stop restarting and build a strong foundation you’ll be able to rely on, Foundation is designed for exactly that. It’s designed to help you establish the habits, confidence, and consistency that support lasting progress.

If you’re ready to turn consistency into a lasting way of life, Transformation is where most people find their home. Lasting change often takes longer than people expect. Transformation gives you the time to build habits and put them into practice through vacations, holidays, busy seasons, setbacks, and everyday life so you can keep making progress no matter what life throws your way.

The right path isn’t the one that moves you forward the fastest. It’s the one that gives you the confidence to keep moving forward when life changes.

If you’re looking for an ongoing coaching partnership that helps you continue growing in how you perform, lead, and live, Selection provides the highest level of guidance, accountability, and strategic support.

If you’re still unsure, that’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin. We’ll help you choose the path that best fits your goals, your lifestyle, and the level of support you’re looking for.

Our goal isn’t to help you choose the biggest commitment. It’s to help you choose the path that’s right for you.

THE RIGHT PATH ISN’T THE FASTEST ONE.
IT’S THE ONE THAT FITS YOUR LIFE AND KEEPS YOU MOVING FORWARD.

14

What if First In isn't for me?

Choosing a nutrition coach is a big decision, and we don’t expect you to know with absolute certainty that First In is the right fit until you’ve had a chance to experience it for yourself.

We want you in the First In Family because you choose to be here, not because you feel obligated to stay.

If you decide within your first four weeks that First In isn’t for you, simply let us know. We’ll refund your investment in full. No awkward conversations. No hoops to jump through. No hidden fine print.

We believe great coaching relationships are built on trust, and we’d rather earn yours than expect it.

We don’t want to keep you.

We want to give you every reason to stay.

THE BEST COACHING RELATIONSHIPS AREN’T BUILT ON CONTRACTS.
THEY’RE BUILT ON TRUST.

15

What if I'm ready to stop starting over?

If you’re ready to stop starting over, then you’re probably not looking for another quick fix.

You’re looking for something that finally lasts.

By now, you’ve probably realized something.

Starting over has never been the problem. You’ve proven you’re willing to try.

The problem was never your willingness to change.

It was relying on a plan that only worked when life was perfect.

That’s exactly what we’re here to change.

We won’t ask you to follow another plan. We’ll coach you to build a better system that keeps working when life doesn’t go according to plan.

Because life isn’t going to stop changing.

There will always be busy weeks, vacations, holidays, celebrations, setbacks, and new challenges.

The goal isn’t to avoid those moments.

It’s to build a better system that helps you navigate them without feeling like you’ve failed or have to start over.

Along the way, you’ll have a coach to guide you, a proven system to rely on, and a Family that’s there to support you through every season of life. So when life changes, as it always does, you won’t be figuring it out alone.

One day you’ll realize you didn’t start over on Monday.

Not because life got easier.

But because your progress no longer depends on having a perfect week.

THE GOAL ISN’T TO GET BETTER AT STARTING OVER.
IT’S TO BUILD A BETTER SYSTEM SO YOU STOP NEEDING TO.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT THE NEXT 12 WEEKS.
IT'S ABOUT YOUR NEXT 20 YEARS.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT THE NEXT 12 WEEKS.
IT'S ABOUT YOUR NEXT 20 YEARS.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT THE NEXT 12 WEEKS.
IT'S ABOUT YOUR NEXT 20 YEARS.

You didn’t decide to make a change because of a number on the scale.

You decided to make a change because there’s more life you want to live.

Putting yourself first is about so much more than losing five more pounds, fitting into a smaller dress size, or chasing abs for the summer.

It’s about vacations where you’re making memories instead of sitting on the sidelines, jumping into the picture instead of volunteering to take it, keeping up with your kids today, enjoying retirement tomorrow, and living a life where you say “yes” more often than “I wish I could.”

This is what First In has always been about.

Not another transformation.
Not another finish line.

The goal was never to become a different person.

It was to stop missing out on the life you wanted to live.

And that’s a journey you shouldn’t have to make alone.

PROGRAMS END. FAMILIES DON'T.

There will always be new challenges to face, new chapters to write, and new memories to make.

The difference is that you’ll know how to navigate them without starting over.

You’ll have people who know your story. A Family that’s there through every win, every setback, and every step of the way.

And you’ll never have to figure it out alone again.

Because growth doesn’t end after 12 weeks.

Neither do we.

PROGRESS LOOKS DIFFERENT WHEN YOU ZOOM OUT

For years, I waited for motivation.

I thought progress was supposed to be obvious. You put in the work, you see the result, and that result gives you a reason to keep going.

But motivation fades.

There are seasons when it feels like nothing’s changing. When the effort is constant but the results seem distant. In those moments, it’s easy to get discouraged, to question whether the work is worth it.

What I’ve learned is that progress isn’t always loud or obvious.

It often hides in small changes, subtle improvements, and quiet consistency.

Sometimes, the problem isn’t the lack of movement… it’s our vantage point.

You just can’t see it from where you’re standing.

Zoom out. Step back. Find a larger perspective.

Three months. Six months. A year.

For me, these photos span 3½ years.

Looking at them together, I can see what I couldn’t always see while I was living it. What felt like a plateau might actually have been the foundation being poured. What felt like stagnation might have been alignment.

Since joining First In in 2023, I’ve learned to stop relying on motivation and keep doing the work anyway.

I still have days when I want to quit.

But I don’t.

Success isn’t found in the big moments. It’s in the small ones you don’t skip.

And after enough of those small moments, the evidence starts becoming pretty hard to miss.

Twenty-six shirts and five pairs of pants disappeared from my closet. Then three more bags of clothes went to donation. Even my favorite burpee shirt finally had to go because I was drowning in it.

Recently, someone told me I’d made changes that made me unrecognizable.

And while I feel satisfaction from accomplishing meaningful change, I couldn’t have done it without the support of those around me. Those who encouraged me, kept me honest, and pushed me to become a better version of myself.

But no one can do the work for me.

I get to earn it every single day.

Three and a half years of these photos have taught me something I couldn’t always see while I was standing inside any one of them:

Progress isn’t always about giant leaps.

It’s often built in inches, and only seen clearly with a wider lens.

NO ONE CAN DO THE WORK FOR YOU.
BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

I THOUGHT I DIDN'T NEED A COACH

I’ll be honest, when I first heard about First In’s nutrition coaching, I was like, “Meh, macros are macros. You don’t need a coach.”

I took the leap, and my body weight is steadily dropping and my lifts are going up without even feeling like I’m on a “diet.”

My last bench PR was 340. Then I smoked 365 at a lighter body weight.

This is the best decision I’ve made in terms of my health and fueling my performance, and I’m excited for what’s to come.

“

I'M NOT PERFECT, I'M CONSISTENT

Something I always struggled with mentally every winter was the thought, “Here we go, gotta get back to that summer body so I can wear a swimsuit.”

It was a torturous way of thinking, like I had to punish myself to get back where I wanted to be.

Thanks to First In Nutrition, I will never think that way again. I can always have my so-called summer body because I eat in the freedom of what’s best for me, and it doesn’t change with the seasons.

Looking back at my progress from week 1 to week 64, slow and steady definitely wins the battle. I couldn’t be more grateful for the gains in my mindset, habits, and prioritizing progress over perfection, coupled with all the positives in my health and blood work. It’s so worth it!

I’m far from perfect, but I am consistent, and it works.

I PICKED ME TO BE BETTER FOR THEM

One year. 365 days. 72.4 pounds. Three pants sizes. Two shirt sizes.

Those are the easy numbers to measure.

Better quality of life. More energy for my wife and kids. Better self-esteem. Better mental health. Better attitude.

Those are the immeasurable achievements.

Three years and 100 pounds later, I’m still pushing to be better every day. It took me so long to realize that I didn’t need that extra appetizer, second slice of cake, or third drink. What I did need was to coach Little League, run after a rambunctious baby girl, go for a jog with my wife. I needed to be present and not always tired.

I picked me so I could be all these things for the people I love the most.

Choose you to be around for them.

— FREEDOM THROUGH STRUCTURE

EAT ANYTHING
NOT EVERYTHING

Food freedom isn’t the absence of structure.

It’s the result of it.

It isn’t about having no rules. It’s about having the confidence and structure to enjoy the foods you love while continuing to make progress.

That’s why we say:

you can eat anything,
but you can’t eat everything.

It’s the principle that’s shaped everything we’ve built at First In from day one.

Lasting progress doesn’t come from eliminating your favorite foods.

It comes from learning how to make them fit.

The answer was never more restriction.

It was always a better system.
